Do It Satu Lagi 3 v- Sabor Latino 8

Match Headline :   Outplayed.
A bit dark for the warm up but finally the lights came on to show a fine looking Lebak Bulus Arena. Do It managed a couple of early chances, with Graham causing trouble and clipping the bar early on and two others frittered away. Those early chances gone the action moved to the other end where the Latino team began to carve out the openings and stretch Do Its Back line. Eventually the first goal came only to be equalised from a Do It corner. Latino MOTM Cristian started to cause mayhem on the wing though and it wasn’t long before the Latinos were back in front. A couple of yellow cards for Do It (Ian didn’t deserve, his but Dan did) didn’t help Do Its cause and meant that the midfield battle was starting to go Latinos way.
Al managed to expose the Latinos at the back with a mazy run and finish but it still left time for the Latinos to pass their way to another to go in to the break two goals to the good (4-2).
Straight after half time the accurate and flowing passing game of the Latinos took its further toll as the effortlessly pinged it across the wide pitch and back again before finishing in style. Several chances went begging again for Do It and too often the ball was given away cheaply to the Latinos who rarely let a pass go astray. Some wonderful moments of skill, including an unstoppable first time volley for the Latinos and a consolation top corner effort from Al but at the end of the day Latinos were in total control and if they keep playing like that will remain so through the season.
Highlights
A lesson in passing and movement.
A lesson in finishing.
Ronan breaking the keepers ribs from 2 yards.
Ronan remembering the emergency carton in case Paul turns up to watch.
