Even if I am not playing any more I would like to add my comment. Regarding the professional and ex-professional players a rule should be created, same as the Indonessian players. The maximum professional or ex-professional player per team should be limited. We do not loose the objective of this leage. I think is an expatriate leage where of course everyone want to win but also to have fun. The best is to have all the leage fulfilled by expats, but we know that is very difficult, so for that reason we need extra players as Indonessian and exprof. First of all, let's keep cool heads and allow the managers and captains to discuss this issue at the next meeting in early January. Then, if needed, they will all vote and decide what is the next best step for the league. Voting over emails is not an option until it is written into the league rules as an acceptable option. If you have seen the most recent blog comments lately then you will have noticed that our public is turning on us and questioning the integrity of the league leadership. There are questions about who is in charge. Read the last comments on the most recent JIFL Newsletter. Right. That way those two teams could beat the shit out of each other, each and every week. Who knows, perhaps they could recruit every professional, ex-professional, and want to be professional that steps foot on this archipelago. This is meant to be an Expatriate League not a two-horse race between two teams that have been built to compete against each other and annihilate the rest of the League. The past few years, the League was getting interesting and competitive, any team could beat another on any given night. Now, unfortunately, we’re back to disparity. Let’s just give all the points to those two teams, so they can determine between themselves whose ‘top dog’. At least that way, another team or someone else, might be able to pick up some achievement. Long live the spirit of the League!
